“Sterling” is a class horse that will get you noticed in any ring. Tall, thick and drop dead gorgeous, you don’t find TBs built like this often.

Sterling has a strong dressage foundation with rated dressage miles and is currently qualified for USDF Regional Championships at Training Level. He is schooling 1st/2nd level dressage at home. He also competed in the 2023 TB Makeover finishing 8th of 82 horses in dressage.

He also has miles at local CT shows up to Starter and has schooled up to 2’6” at home. He is happiest when jumping and we think he will make a great hunter/jumper/eventing prospect! He has a green change that he's currently working on.

He loads, clips, cross ties, stands for grooming, farrier and bathing. He does tend to get thin soled and is goes best with at least front shoes here in Kentucky.

​

Sterling would do best with a confident amateur in a program. He retired from the track in 2022 with a fractured splint in his left front which is fully healed and not anticipated to limit him.

​

​Sterling is lifetime registered with both USEF and USDF, and is registered with TIP.
