ABOUT 

Nicole has been deeply rooted in the equestrian world since the age of nine, beginning her riding journey in the Chicagoland area. Over the years, she explored a range of disciplines—from hunter/jumper to western riding—before discovering her true calling in the art of dressage.

Driven by a lifelong passion for Thoroughbreds, Nicole has dedicated her career to showcasing the breed’s athleticism, versatility, and heart. She believes that every horse can benefit from the principles of dressage and that, with thoughtful training, Thoroughbreds can excel in this discipline at every level.

Today, Nicole and her husband own and operate Arizen Acres LLC, a private horse farm nestled in the scenic Bluegrass region of Paris, Kentucky. At Arizen Acres, Nicole focuses on training and developing off-track Thoroughbreds for dressage competition, combining classical techniques with patient, individualized care.

 

Her commitment to the breed and the sport has most recently earned her recognition as a two-time Top Ten finisher in Dressage at the Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover in both 2023 and 2024, and USDF All-Breeds/The Jockey Club awards for Champion Training Level AA and Reserve Champion Training Level Open in 2025.

At its heart, Arizen Acres is built on the belief that every horse deserves the chance to discover its fullest potential through patience, partnership, and purposeful training.
