About Arizen Acres

Arizen Acres is a dressage-based training, sales, and coaching program founded by Nicole Dlugosz who has built her dressage career on Thoroughbreds. Not despite them, but because of them.

The sensitivity, athleticism, honesty, and heart that Thoroughbreds bring to the sport have shaped the philosophy behind Arizen Acres and reinforced the belief that successful training begins with understanding the horse in front of you.

While Thoroughbreds are a specialty and passion, Arizen Acres welcomes horses of all breeds and disciplines who can benefit from correct, dressage-based development. Through thoughtful training, honest evaluation, and strong fundamentals, Nicole helps horses and riders build confidence, understanding, and long-term success.

Dressage provides the foundation for all training at Arizen Acres. Whether restarting an off-track Thoroughbred, developing a young horse, preparing a sales prospect, or helping a rider strengthen their partnership, the focus remains the same: clarity, confidence, and correct development.

Meet Nicole

Nicole Dlugosz is a USDF Bronze Medalist who earned her medal on self-developed Thoroughbreds and is a two-time Top Ten finisher at the Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover in Dressage.  Nicole also continues her own education by riding with some of her favorite clinicians such as Herwig Radnetter, JJ Tate, and Lilo Fore among others.

A lifelong advocate for Thoroughbreds, Nicole is passionate about helping riders unlock the potential of these remarkable horses through classical dressage principles and individualized training. Her experience developing Thoroughbreds from restart through competition has shaped a practical, horse-centered approach that emphasizes patience, understanding, and long-term success.

Known for her thoughtful and analytical approach, Nicole enjoys helping riders understand the "why" behind the training. Her lessons focus on building both practical skills and a deeper understanding of how horses learn and develop.
